#SLOWLIFE: TRAVEL GUIDE TO HONG KONG

· ·
Hong Kong - Just saying it excites me and sends my heart palpitating.
It could be due to many reasons, not just because my quirky husband reigns from Hong Kong but really,
it was the constant traveling to one of my favorite cities during my work days developing accessories
that I fell intensely in love with it.
People would normally perceive Hong Kong as fast-paced, over-populated and
perhaps even annoying to our ears as the locals speak in their native language at the top of their voices.
To me, this was part of the charm of an interesting city.
Then there is the other side of Hong Kong, the seas and mountainous views.
Pretty much on every of my trips, I would spot an eagle or two from the window of my hotel room.
It is so surreal.
Walking uphill on the steep slopes in central area remains as one of the most harrowing
yet distinct travel experiences of Hong Kong.
At the same time, allowing yourself to be in awe of the numerous buildings of their colonial architecture
and glossy interiors.
The clash of the new and the nostalgia forming as one.
Made my flight bookings and accommodation smoothly via Expedia.com.sg and proceeded
to plan my itinerary around food per usual!
Also, ensured that I don’t tire myself out as i was expecting.
Trust me, it is no easy feat walking up and down those steep slopes at 20 weeks pregnant.
Sure, who doesn't know Hong Kong as the paradise of the bestest food!
Amazing chefs and Michelin-starred restaurants!
However, what might surprise you about Hong Kong is that there is an abundant of choices
for organic, whole foods and locally sourced ingredients!
In fact, some of the best i've tasted.
There has been a growing interest of #slowliving and #lohas lifestyle throughout these years and
many Hong Kong people have adopted this healthy lifestyle and made it better.
Thus, in this humble travel journal of mine, I would like to show you my perspective of Hong Kong,
where to stay, eat and live the #slowlife in this highly dense city.
Here's my travel guide to living a #slowlife in Hong Kong!
